Aims of the course :
This course aim to produce individuals designers or craftspeople with
high creativity,
underpinned with technical and interpersonal skills. Painting and drawing
is strongly emphasized throughout the course, which includes opportunities
to work in the areas of knitted, printed and woven textiles. Studies are
set in context with textile history,
are also studio projects with focus on drawing, visual research and the
development of ideas, whereas workshop sessions introduce the process
of dyeing, printing, weaving and knitting. Deepshikha also introduces
the choice of specialize or broaden as the student choice to specialize
or broaden as the student chooses. Projects are more focused targeting
specified areas of design and industry. This course sharing learning ,teaching
and physical resources used by the established textile and fashion course
but is intended to be the far more than a mix of the existing provision.
Students of
this course are given the tools and skills to generate ideas for fashion
and textile products based on a growing assistance of how the fashion
world works.
Students are immersed in fashion intelligence, but is the keys area of
presentation and exhibition of student work and creative application of
the media that gives the course as special manner. This course focuses
on designing textiles for interior and product markets with emphasis on
realizing and applications for textiles that are designed with an opportunity
to make end products. Strong emphasis is also placed on experimental and
you will explore stitch, mixed media, print weaves and knit before specializing
with in a particular area.

Secondary/Senior Secondary .
Career Opportunities :
Diverse career opportunities including working within design as a textile
design/maker, stylist, consultant, buyer or which a related areas. Some
students also go on to further studies
