| The Rajasthan Government's objective in starting the Center for Electronic Governance (CEG), is to train skilled efficient and employable young engineers to become knowledge workers. |

| Aims & Objectives: |
| To promote interaction between the Government, Universities and the Industry. |
| To provide conducive environment for learning by doing in colleges. |
| To promote the dissemination of knowledge fostering the innovative thoughts of the Students. |
| To develop and deploy e-Governance applications in a cost-effective manner, thus upgrading the quality of life of the citizen. |
| To empower students living in the rural areas so as to bridge the urban - Rural gap. |
| To undertake research and apply these fruitful results for the benefit of the public. |
| To produce readily employable graduates by imparting industry grade skills. |
| To produce industry ready IT professionals. |
| To update the Curriculum as per the needs of the Industries. |
| To organize engineering seminars and lectures of eminent engineers and scientists. |
| To perform such other functions and to carry out such other duties as the society may deem proper or as may be assigned to it by the State Government from time to time. |

| Way to Achieve: |
| As there is a need to enhance the quality of talent pool with industry grade skills in order to make for the growing demand for IT professionals, Knowledge Dissemination Centre (KDC) is set up at various professional colleges in Rajasthan. They are governed by Centre for Electronic Governance (CEG). |

| CEG gets the companies to the colleges for campus placement. So there is a opportunity for the students for appearing in the campus placement of these companies. |
| Learn well prepared multimedia content for Soft-Skills and Electives / Technical Skills. |
| Learning Management System / Training Management System. |
| Software and Tools from IBM, Microsoft, BEA, Red-hat and other JKC partnered companies. |
| Training on Certifications from companies such as IBM and other partnered companies to promote students of the college by IT-Associates. |
| Projects are executed within the college campus and the experience will be distributed to the 3rd year students. |
