E-Learning resources for students to continue studies during lockdown conditions

We are all aware of the ongoing COVID-19 crisis and the lockdown situation that has emerged to avoid the spread of Coronavirus. As a result, all colleges, universities and educational institutions in the country have been closed. Taking into account the academic loss of the students, we have started online study facilities so that students do not suffer during this lockdown period. Students can utilize the following e-learning platforms as recommended by MHRD, UGC and Inter-University Centers to continue studies by staying at home:

This e-learning platform provides one of the best online study material to the learners free of cost without any registration. Those who have registered in January 2020 can continue their learning as usual.

Hosts learning material of SWAYAM for UG and PG (Non-Technology) archived courses.

Students belonging to 70 PG courses like Arts, Science, Social Science, Fine Arts and Humanities and Mathematical Sciences can access 23000 interactive modules that involve both textual and visual content.

CEC website provides students high-quality online content in 87 UG courses through 24,110 e-content modules.

High-quality curriculum-based educational content is provided through a group of 32 DTH channels that are free to air. Major disciplines covered under this are Commerce, Science, Arts, Engineering, Social Science, Technology, Humanities, Law, Medicine, Agriculture, etc. This platform supports lifelong learning and the video lectures can also be viewed as archived videos on its web portal.

Provides unlimited and free access to educational curriculum based lectures.

It is an online repository of high-quality academic content that is available in leading Indian languages in different formats. This library can be accessed by lifelong learners and researchers in various disciplines.

Beneficial for Ph.D. and research students and the scholarly community as this digital repository provides open access to a collection of 2, 60,000 Indian Electronic Thesis and Dissertations for research.

Students can access bibliography, citations, and factual databases in various disciplines along with 15,000 core and peer-reviewed journals from top publishers, colleges, universities, and centrally-funded technical institutions.

Involves the database of experts, scholars, prospective collaborators and policymakers that is highly useful for the research community in the country.

Students can ask for the login credentials from the HOD of the respective Department.

Online engineering books are available for students to download free in different engineering branches such as Mechanical, Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science, Telecommunications, etc.
