We Invited Dr. Christopher Nwanoro as Guest of Honour for Republic Day Celebration


Deepshika College of Technical Education celebrated the 71st Republic Day of India at the Mansarover Campus in the gracious presence of our Guest of Honour Dr. Christopher Nwanoro (Minister-Counselor Political at Nigeria High Commission India). All the teachers and the students of different departments and the management staff of Deepshikha College welcomed Dr. Christopher Nwanoro and other African delegates like Mr. Ezeugo Nnamdi (Diplomat of Nigeria, Africa), Miss. Sabdat Musa ( Diplomat of Nigeria, Africa), Miss Catherine Kabele, Mr. Mazi Odinaka Chukwu, and Mr. Okechukwu Bright to begin a celebration full of patriotic fervor. The celebration helped in reviving the feeling of nationalism, patriotism, brotherhood, and love for the motherland in all those who were present at the event. 


The flag hoisting ceremony commenced with the unfurling of the National Flag by our Guest of Honour, Dr. Christopher Nwanoro, African diplomats along with the college authorities. This was further accompanied by a rendition of the National Anthem by the Music Department of the College. Thereafter, a series of programs followed that captivated our guests and all the people present in the program. This included the marvelous display of Parade by the NCC cadets along with dance and drama performance by the college students. The cultural performances filled the entire environment with great energy and enthusiasm and filled the hearts of everyone present in the program with the feeling of patriotism and loyalty for our mother country India. 


The program concluded with sweets distribution and thereafter the gathering was addressed by the Principal, other college dignitaries as well as the Chief guest for the program Dr. Christopher Nwanoro. All our guests gave a heartfelt thanks for inviting them on the auspicious occasion of Republic Day and shared their thoughts and views regarding India, the relation and cooperation between India and Africa and how both countries can develop through mutual understanding and student exchange programs. Our guests also acknowledged our efforts for maintaining high academic standards that are essential for all-round development of the students. In addition to this, the college management also took pride in highlighting the current achievements of the students and how we as an institution of national repute are grooming students for a professional career ahead in the competitive environment.. 


We cordially thank our reputed Guest of Honour Dr. Christopher Nwanoro, Diplomats from Africa and other respectful guests along with the entire staff and students of different departments who helped in making the Republic Day celebration at Deepshikha College a memorable event for coming years. With this celebration, we aimed for attaining new heights in technical education by laying a strong foundation for an educational system that develops students that are great professionals and at the same time responsible and loyal citizens of the country.
